The other selections here include Sebastian Wawrinka at a 14/1 margin with Marin Cilic priced around 25/1. Former major winner Juan Martin Del Potro, who has never gone back to the highs he enjoyed previously before his injury, is a lengthy 40/1 price tag alongside Tomas Berdych. Canada’s Milos Raonic could be poised to make a statement here and isn’t entirely out of the question on an each-way wager with his price of 50/1.

Bookmakers are paying out 1/2 odds on a player to make the finals and with a listing of around 50/1 you’re looking at a solid 25/1 price that Raonic makes the final. He has shown flashes of brilliance and still looks to be developing as a force in global tennis. While he unlikely to make the genuine breakthrough here, you can expect him to keep progressing with every major championship.

Gael Monfils and David Ferrer round out the market at 100/1.

In the women’s singles department, we have Serena Williams coming in as the betting favourite to win the whole thing but she’s facing some stiff resistance from Canadian upstart Eugenie Bouchard who defeated her a few days ago in emphatic fashion. It wasn’t so much the victory, but the manner of the victory, that reflected so strongly on how far forward Bouchard really has come.

You’ll find Williams the favourite trading at a 2/1 listing while Maria Sharapova commands a solid 7/1 price tag. Simona Halep is an 8/1 while Victoria Azarenka can be backed right now at 9/1.

Caroline Wozniacki is priced at 10/1 while the aforementioned Bouchard can be backed at a 12/1 price. Expect her to continue moving forward and to be heavily-backed in individual outright match winning markets. She is a great candidate to make the final and represents a decent each-way shot at her current price of 12/1 which will doubtlessly drop as we get closer to the kick off of the 2015 Australian Open.
