2020 Presidential Election Specials PT 1

With the stunning election of Donald Trump last week, the world and the news media (and virtually everyone on the planet outside of the Donald and his inner circle) must all adapt to an entirely new era in politics both national and global.

Not only ousting Hillary Clinton – the significant favourite on the day when she opened at around a 1/5 price tag to be elected president by the end of the night – was enough for Trump. The New York-based billionaire also did his best to end the legacy of the Bush family and the Obama dynasty as well with the Republicans sweeping into power in the White House and holding both the senate and the house of representatives.

This ensures that the Democrats – still reeling from their dramatic loss when virtually everything looked to be locked down to make it easy for Mrs. Clinton – will be scrambling to install a new generation of leadership as they have lost virtually all of their leverage in the lawmaking aspects of American government and will now be forced to rely on unpopular tactics like filibusters and delaying procedures to combat Republican legislation that they would normally have been able to vote down or avoid altogether.

The bookmakers have released a number of odds relating to Donald Trump's next term in addition to a race for the White House in 2020 when the whole circus revs up again and takes the country by storm once more.

Donald Trump is heavily favoured to visit the UK by the end of 2017 with bookmakers floating a very slim price of about 1/5 right now. Donald Trump is also favoured to finish his entire term and he can be backed at a 1/3 price tag to do so. The Donald is also favoured not to be reelected in the 2020 race with one bookmaker going to a 4/6 price on that.
