David Beckham is odds on to be playing in the Spanish Primera League next season. The former England captain's contract with Real Madrid runs out at the end of the season and speculation is rife as to his future.

After appearing to offer an olive branch to Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson, some observers have suggested he may be preparing for a move back to the Premiership.

And with his long term goal being to establish football academies, others have claimed he could chose to end his career in the Major Soccer League.

But England and America are 9/2 and 8/1 respectively with his present home priced at 4/7 to secure his services next season.

It's hard to see him playing for another Premiership club having been at United for 15 years and its doubtful whether Fergie would want him back.

Even if his wife has acting ambitions in America, he will need to take a huge pay cut to fit into the MLS salary cap - so that effectively leaves Spain. Real might not want to start him every week but they must quite keen on owning half his image rights.
