Coral make Invasor favourite

Invasor today attracted substantial support for Saturday's Dubai World Cup prompting Coral to make him the new 5/4 favourite from 13/8 replacing Discreet Cat who was eased to 11/8 from 5/4.

"We took a string of four figure bets on Invasor this morning which was in stark contrast to the lack of punter confidence in Discreet Cat", said Simon Clare, Coral Spokesman.

"Invasor's connections have been publicly very bullish about his chance, whereas all kinds of negative rumours and tittle tattle have been circulating about Discreet Cat's prospects going into the race", added Clare.

Coral today priced up the Godolphin Mile and installed Killybegs, the mount of Frankie Dettori, as the 11/2 favourite. Dixie Meister is next best at 13/2 with last year's Sussex Stakes winner, Court Masterpiece, a 7/1 chance.

Irridescence was today well backed into 14/1 from 18/1 for the Dubai Duty Free Stakes.
