In the aftermath of England's resurgence to win the ODI series, one man can sit back in his big chair and feel very smug. It was only weeks ago that the cricketing world in general was calling for Duncan Fletcher to be axed as England coach but now the future looks a lot brighter.

When commenting on the recent performances, Fletcher said "there's no better place to produce that than in Australia in a one-day series." Well, that's not true Dunc - surely it would be better to produce that in the Caribbean in the World Cup.
