With the news that Steve McClaren has been sacked as England Head coach the interest is now firmly on who will replace him and the markets are already indicating that the next boss will not be English.

William Hill believe that the next England boss will be a foreigner and currently offer 2/1 that the FA will appoint an Englishman, 4/11 that they will not. There is a two-horse race forming over which foreign boss it will be and the biggest bet struck so far on who will be the next permanent England manager has been on Martin O'Neill, with a London-based William Hill telephone client staking £1000 on him.
