Who will win a Golf Major in 2007?
January 09, 2007 - Paul McLeod

If blind optimism was all it takes to win a major, then Ernie Els would surely be on course for the grand slam in 2007.
Although the Big Easy recently won the South African Airways Open, it was against a very weak field and it’s hard to believe his claims that he will soon be challenging Tiger Woods for major honours.
If you think Els is being a bit unrealistic, at least he doesn’t expect it to happen straight away saying "I've got to give myself a three-year stretch to try to approach him and I really believe I can do it"!
