When we heard Ernie Els saying that on Thursday he is planning to do his "best barmen impression", we presumed that John Daly was playing in the Johnnie Walker Classic!
The Wild Thing won't be competing in Phuket so why the need for all the extra bar staff you're probably not thinking. Well, after golf on Thursday the pros will go behind the bar and serve the VIP guests in an attempt to raise some badly needed cash for Thailand’s Tsunami Fund. Phuket was a region devastated by the tsunami and the return of top quality golf to region is a sign of gradual revival in the area.
