Ladbrokes FA Cup Betting Odds
January 27, 2006
The North East of England is 16/1 to have NO teams in the FA Cup after this weekend's fourth round matches, according to Ladbrokes.
Newcastle, Middlesbrough and Sunderland are all struggling in the wrong half of the Premiership and face tricky ties against Cheltenham, Coventry and Brentord respectively.
The bookies make the chances of one getting through 3/1, 11/10 that two get the rub of the green and 2/1 that all three make it into the hat.
The firm are also offering 7/1 that the maximum number of Premiership teams - 12 - land themselves in the draw for the next round.
And they are 14/1 that the highest number of London teams (a maximum of 5) qualify and 40/1 that none of them survive.
Of the 'Big four' teams still in the competition, Manchester United are the 6/4 favourites to score most goals in the Fourth Round as they travel to Wolves.
Liverpool, who make their way to Portsmouth, are 2/1, with Premier League Champions Chelsea 3/1 and Arsenal 6/1.
Chelsea remain the 9/4 favourites to lift the trophy, with United available at 4/1 and the Anfield side 5/1.
