Paddy Power has always proactively courted controversy and has consistently pushed the limits of public acceptability.
This was the controversial "Pope" advert that was launched in 1995. It shows Pope John Paul II waving and odds of 100,000 to 1 that JP would sign for Rangers.
The company subsequently refunded all bets when the Pope broke his leg while taking a shower.
