Rudy the Rock for President?

William Hill have cut the odds about former Mayor of New York, Rudolph Giuliani, becoming US President after the confirmed his intention to run - and he has been shortened from 5/1 to 7/2 second favourite behind front-runner and 11/8 favourite Hiallary Clinton.

Hills make John McCain and Barack Obama 6/1 joint third favourites with John Edwards 7/1; Al Gore 14/1 and Mitt Romney 20/1.

'We have seen far more betting interest than for the past two or three campaigns and with several high-profile candidates already in the running I expect to see a record betting turnover of over £10million by the time the result is revealed' said William Hill spokesman Graham Sharpe.
