888 Sports betting offer

We have the pleasure of once again sponsoring the World Matchplay Darts at The Winter Gardens in Blackpool. One man has dominated the event since 2000 and it doesn’t take many stabs to guess who it is. Phil “The Power” Taylor. He’s unbeaten here since then and he’s a strong favourite to repeat the feat. Tickets for the Semi Finals and the Final sold out within hours but Sky Sports will have extensive live coverage throughout the week.

9 Dart Finish

In 2002 Phil Taylor popped up to the ockey and astounded the crowd with the first televised live 9 Dart Finish. He took £100,000 off us for that as a bonus and although it’s a rare occurrence you know it’s only a matter of time before someone matches the feat, or more likely…..Taylor does it again. You can bet on the chances of it happening with Stan James at the price of 6/1.

Highest Tournament Checkout

Only two options for you here, because the highest possible checkout is 170, which consists of treble 20, treble 20 and then the Bulleye. It’s odds on that it will happen….but don’t forget, the player has to be stepping up with exactly 170 needed and this won’t happen too often.

Under 170……….….6/4

Total Tournament 180’s

We’ll have to endure the Compere announcing “180” in only the way Darts Compere’s can a few time in the coming week. But just how many 180’s will there actually be over the event. Our compilers think that they’ll be around 200 altogether but you might have other ideas. There will be 31 matches in total so we are looking at an average of just over 6 every match.

Under 199………15/8

Over 209………10/11

Phil Taylor’s Total 180’s

All eyes will be on Phil Taylor as always and we have a market of how many 180’s the legend will get. If he makes the final then he’ll be involved in 5 matches, but don’t forget the First Round is best of 19 legs going up to 35 legs in the final.  They’ll potentially be a lot of matches. We know how good Taylor can be when he’s on full throttle, but will he be on song this week.

Over 32……...11/8

How Many Legs Will Phil Taylor Lose?

This is an interesting market, because of late, Taylor hasn’t always won his matches lying down. He has shown a bit of fallibility sometimes, so we thought we’d set up a market based on how many legs he’ll lose. It’s a bit of a teaser but fun nevertheless.
