Steve McClaren is 9/4 not to be in charge of England for their next Euro qualifier, according to Ladbrokes.

And the former Middlesbrough manager, who saw his side labour to a 3-0 victory against minnows Andorra, is evens to not be at the helm for the start of the finals.

Ladbrokes spokesman, Nick Weinberg, said: "England's youth teams would have expected to get a result against the part-timers. The manner of the victory was far from convincing.

"Even with the win assured the crowd were on McClaren's back. The score line has only papered over the cracks."

The Three Lions are 1/2 to qualify from their group, whilst Scotland, brought crashing down to earth by world champions Italy, are 4/1 to progress.

Weinberg added: "We were in the rare position of cheering on England given their price. Suffice to say we were sweating at half time."
