It is the second set of matches in the Group stage of the Champions League this week and both Manchester United and Arsenal will be looking to put disappointing displays at the week-end behind them.
Manchester United who were shocked by Blackburn in the 2-1 defeat at Old Trafford entertain Benfica and are rated at 4-11 with VC Bet to get back to winning ways with the draw priced at 11-4 and Benfica available at 15-2.
Arsenal travel to Ajax rocked with injury problems and still without an away win in the Premiership after their goalless draw with West Ham on Saturday. They are 7-5 with VC Bet who make the home side an 8-5 chance and the draw on offer at 11-5.
Wednesday evening gives Chelsea the chance to seek revenge for their semi-final dismissal by Liverpool in the Champions League last season. The Premiership title holders who are seven out of seven in the league are rated the 6-5 favourites by VC Bet who have Liverpool at 11-5 and the draw at 15-8.
VC Bet’s Neal Wilkins commented “Manchester United have a perfect opportunity to bounce back from the Blackburn defeat against Benfica but Arsenal, playing without key players and confidence will do well to get anything out of their game in Holland”.
Wilkins continued “Liverpool actually managed to double their season’s goal total in the 2-2 draw with Birmingham on Saturday and it will be interesting to see who comes out top of the battle of the coaches between Benitez and Mourinho. It should be an enthralling tie”.
