WGC World Cup of Golf
December 05, 2006 - Ian Ross
24 teams will battle for the WGC World Cup of Golf but if recent events that took place about 250 miles above our heads continue, we may have to rename the event.
We’ve all bragged about a long drive but Mikhail Tyurin should comfortably win every single future clubhouse boasting session with his effort.
The Russian astronaut hit a drive whilst on a space walk which apparently should keep going for at least 3 days and could travel for years.
It sure puts that time you smacked it 350 yards on a bone dry course with a strong wind behind you into perspective! Who’ll be the waste of space this week in Barbados?
