Bookmaker Coral has cut England's cricket World Cup odds to 8-1 (from 12-1), after Duncan Fletcher's side defied the odds to win the Commonwealth Bank series final against World Cup favourites Australia two-nil.
"Although England haven't become world beaters overnight, they have ended an otherwise disappointing tour in great style, and will head to the West Indies giving backers at least some hope of success," said Coral's David Stevens.

13-8 (from 6-4) Australia, 6-1 South Africa, 13-2 Pakistan, 7-1 India, Sri Lanka, West Indies, 8-1 England, 10-1 New Zealand, 100-1 Bar
