English Premier League Latest Outrights PT 2

Manchester City are available at a 13/5 price tag and that’s not a bad wager though the club does seem to be regressing a bit despite having so many world-beating players in the team. Sergio Aguero, Yaya Toure and a host of other great players are all plying their trade on the blue side of Manchester but things just seem to have stagnated a bit despite their virtually unlimited budget.

Arsenal are being listed as the third choice to win the English Premier League trophy this year and they are available at a 9/2 price tag to get the job done - that’s probably significantly shorter than it needs to be because they really don’t look up to sustaining a title challenge over a 38 game season.

Arsenal were able to get some decent results last year against the smaller opposition but tended to be completely undone when they came up against top four opposition with better players and better strategies. Arsenal have been able to overcome the ability of sides like Stoke - this used to trouble them a few years ago - but now they fail to make real impressions against top English sides and big teams in Europe that play better technical football.

Manchester United have made some really solid statements of intent in regards to their recent signings with the new “schmidfield” looking like a very exciting prospect with Bastian Schweinsteiger and Morgan Schneiderlin looking likely to occupy central midfield roles for the club. Expect to see Daley Blind dropped back to the defensive line to compliment the quality United have in the center now.

Should David De Gea (who increasingly looks like staying at least for an additional season) and Angel Di Maria both remain at Manchester United heading into next season they they really do boast one of the best line-ups in all of Europe despite lacking a world-class defender.

With Louis Van Gaal dropping hints that maybe a “surprise” was headed to Old Trafford then people immediately turn their attention towards Cristiano Ronaldo. Whether he moves is unlikely, but United’s 11/2 price tag is certain to drop in the coming weeks prior to the season.
