Kevin Pietersen's England, fresh from their dramatic loss at the twenty20 Stanford Super Series, are now on the subcontinent and are preparing to face an Indian Cricket Team in pristine form.

Steve Harmison is back in the side for another test series and Ryan Sidebottom will be looking to prove his fitness at the highest level once again after reaggravating an injury at the Stanford Series.

INDIA'S FINE FORM

India are in the middle of taking apart Australia at the moment, with a number of their spinners looking to be in a rich vein of form. England's off-spinners and off-leg bowlers should be licking their chops at the prospect of an Indian side who somehow struggle against spin.

ODI AND TEST SERIES PREDICTIONS

England's success in the ODI series will depend heavily on their batting performance and how they can come with the movement on the ball, especially in the earlier overs. If India take wickets early in the ODI's, things could be looking bleak for England. I would say wait for the first one before putting any serious money down, but don't hesitate to back England in-running if somebody hits a quick 50.

The two five-day Series will be a different matter with India being arguably the best side in the world currently playing Test cricket. Much could depend on their result against Austrlia and England will be looking to capitalize on any psychological advantage they can find. Kevin Pietersen will know that this is a chance to really put his signature on the current England side and I think they are ready to avenge the demons of their West Indian sojourn last week.
