UFC 106 ODDS AND BETTING TIPS

There's plenty of folks looking forward to tonight's card for UFC 106 and, despite how hard its been to keep track of which matches are actually still on, I think we're going to have a really quality evening of action.
The big match everybody's talking about is the Light Heavyweight battle between Tito Ortiz and Forrest Griffin. We've also seen the Paulo Thiago vs Jacob Volkmann bout be promoted to the main card and I think that could actually be one of the fights of the evening. 888 has put together a very interesting slate of odds and we have some really enticing betting opportunities here.
In the Amir Sadollah vs Phil Baroni fight, we have a really interesting pairing that pits Sadollah (winner of Ultimate Fighter 7) and his technical samba/jiu-jitsu style against Baroni's all-American boxing/wrestling expertise. Rightfully, 888 lists Sodallah as the favourite at 4/9 with Baroni listed at 8/5. I have to go with Sadollah on this one, Baroni's a quality fighter, but he hasn't fought at UFC level in too long and I think thats going to work against him. If it goes to decision he has a shot.
Luiz Cane vs Antonio Rogerio Nogueira features Brazilian vs Brazilian and is set to be an all jiu-jitsu affair. Nogueria gets the edge from the bookmakers at 4/6 against Cane's 11/10. I don't really see a huge amount between them and I'll be backing Cane in this fight. Cane's got three wins in a row and I just think he'll have too much.
Paulo Thiago vs Jacob Volkmann is going to be one of those gritty submission-based matches. The bookmakers list Thiago as a big favourite here with a 4/11 price. Volkmann is a lengthy 13/8 and this would be one of the upsets of the night. I am actually tempted to take Volkamnn as the odds on Thiago just aren't high enough. I opt for Volkmann for the value play, in a fight that will be more marginal than many would think.
John Koscheck takes on Anthony Johnson and this is set to be a real contest between two quality kickboxers. This is going to be a very hard-hitting match and there's no way this is going to a decision. The bookmakers are completely up in the air with this one, giving Anthony Johnson just the slightest of edges at 4/5 against Koscheck's 10/11. Flip a coin here.
Finally, Forrest Griffin vs Tito Ortiz looks to be slightly in favour of Griffin as he commands a 4/6 price against Ortiz's slim 11/10. Ortiz has been a little soft in his past few matches, having not won since beating out Frank Shamrock in 2006. Ortiz beat Griffin back in UFC 59 by what's considered a controversial split decision. These are two fighters who are looking for a victory to get things progressing again and I just think Griffin is the hungrier fighter and there are more ways that he can win.
On the two Spike TV bouts, I'm taking Rosholt at 8/15 and Marcus Davis at 4/9.
My UFC 106 Accumulator is:  Griffin x Volkman x Cane x Davis x Rosholt x Johnson @ 36.63.
