While many are still commenting on Arjen Robben’s embellished fall in the box to win the late penalty, close examination does reveal clear contact from Rafa Marquez and, though the Dutchman’s plunge was certainly theatrical, it was a foul inside the box. France take on Nigeria in the opening match on Monday while Germany and Algeria face off in the second one - both have very clear favourites that look to have every chance of getting the better of their opponents.
