He was sent off as the co-favourite with Somewhat, both of them trading at a competitive 11/8 in that short field. While the bet may not have been a blockbuster for the punters, you reckon he’s going to take some very serious money at 12/1. 

Night of Thunder is in the mix here despite lacking anything more than a listed victory. He put together a solid performance at Doncaster on the Racing Post Trophy undercard when he toppled a field of five in the Doncaster Stakes. Sent off as the 6/4 favourite he was able to get the job done easily just a mere 13 days after making his debut at Goodwood, when taking care of a tough field of 12 having been sent off as the 9/2 favourite in an absolutely wide open race. 

He romped home by a stellar six lengths and was able to draw off with a furlong remaining. This is definitely a horse who wants more ground and Richard Hannon will having him raring to go for the 2014 campaign. Look for him at a very tempting price of 20/1!
