The interesting outsider is Quattrocento who is one of the only ones on offer here who boasts a course and distance victory. A rather tough sequence of recent results is likely the cause for the 14/1 price tag but the seven-year-old son of Robin Des Champs gets a really nice weighting over a course he has flourished on.
The 1:45 is the Paddypower.com Mobile Handicap Chase with a solid purse up to whoever takes this one. It's really tough not to like Havingotascoobydo in this type of a race and the 8/1 price tag indicates that plenty of others clearly feel similarly.

There's a few tricky ones out in this one but both Oh Crick and Imsingingtheblues have plenty of claims as the value plays in this field. Oh Crick is off an interesting seasonal opener with a fourth place finish at Chepstow behind the quality Tataniano.
The big variable looks to be Ruby Walsh aboard Crack Away Jack turning out for the Paul Nicholls yard. He's not won since 2009 but has been laid up a lot and running very infrequently against more talented competition. Paul Nicholls picks his spots well and might have hit the nail on the head this time.
We're shifting over to the Cross Country Chase course for the 2:20 and it's really difficult to overlook the talented Garde Champetre ahead of this one despite the ultra slim price of 8/11. The Nina Carberry-trained gelding should get the measure of this eight-strong field and with a race under his belt already this season he should be able to replicate his better form. He's getting a bit on in years and will enjoy a bit of a run out before this one. Deserving of respect and boasting good form once a race is under his belt, the twelve-year-old still has plenty left to prove.
