2012 Breeders Cup Classic Betting Odds Part 2

Mucho Macho Man looks to be one of the really interesting shouts here and he's a bit of an up-and-down performer at times. This is also reflected in his ante post prices as some bookmakers have him as low as 8/1 while the majority float him at 10s but Bet365 continues to list him at a 16/1 price tag.

To Honor And Serve had been getting some serious attention from many racing observers but just hasn't really looked his sharpest in the past few races. You'll see him at 12/1 with Bet365 but a whopping 25/1 with several others.

A real wildcard here looks to be Nate's Mineshaft - a hard-knocking sort from the East Coast who has shown his ability to take on much tougher-looking fields and be able to grind out a victory. You'll find him at a hefty price of 33/1.

Richard's Kid had been living in Dubai for quiet some time, having gone off the boil a bit since winning the Pacific Classic 3 years ago. He's had a few outings since he was acquired by Doug O'Neill and Mark Verge but is very much still winless for his new connections. You'll find him anywhere from 14/1 to 20/1.

Stay Thirsty had been in the mix for a while but Mike Repole has announced that none of his horses will ship to Santa Anita due to the Lasix ban on two-year-olds this year. He had been floating anywhere from as low as 10/1 but has been moved into 25/1 by several bookmakers.

Ron The Greek had been one of the key favourites for the race going into the build-up to the Breeders' Cup but he put in a very poor showing during his last tie on track and this has seen the gloss come off a bit. Several books have him at 8/1 while others price him around 14/1.

It really comes down to just how good Game On Dude really is, what his understanding is with Bejerano and whether the massive front-end speed bias at Santa Anita remains in effect up to Classic Day. He will go off around 2/1 or 5/2 on the day so that 8/1 price looks especially tidy right now.
