The only horse who is available at a single-digit price is the Haafhd gelding Countrywide Flame. Bet down to 8/1 following a solid victory at Chester a month ago after having been on the shelf since April, you may also remember him since he captured the JCB Triumph Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival before finishing a close second to Grumeti in the Matalan 4-Y-O hurdle at Aintree.

He has been there-or-thereabouts for the past several races and has been competing at around this level so it's not a bad wager all the way. It will be interesting to see where the late money breaks in the build-up to this massive clash.
Albert Bridge is another quality runner and the grey gelding enters off a tidy score at Ayr when he did just enough against a field of nine to win by half a length. Carrying 9-12 on the day sets him up nicely for this one with a quality weighting of 8-3. From a ratings standpoint, he really isn't in the mix but horses who just know how to find the line can be your best bets in wide open fields like this. His 20/1 price makes him an interesting each-way shout if you reckon he can improve to a significant degree.
Montaser is a quality runner and remains a decent shout for this race as he floats at a 12/1 price tag and will be looking to avenge a tough loss in his last race when he was bested by Handsome Man at Yarmouth in a 9k handicap. Prior to that he had scored at Ascot and at Haydock - looking good value for money on both occasions having hone off at 9/2 and 7/4, respectively.
Hayley Turner will be piloting Decoy for this one, an interestingly-bred gelding by Della Francesca out of French mare Vagualame. His last score came at Worcester when he bested a slim field of 6 in a 3K contest. His running style may bring him into contention - as will a potentially interesting draw on the outside.
Those looking for a good each-way shout should take a look at Martial Law, who lines up for the David Pipe yard. He has finished third last time and then came in second at Ascot on both occasions. All told he has hit the board in four of his last five efforts and, though they certainly didn't come at this level, he gets an excellent weight advantage and should be worth a bash on the each-way with his 25/1 price tag.
