The odds then take a considerable jump once we get to Excelebration and this talented four-year-old knows a thing or two about finishing behind Frankel. The Aidan O'Brien-trained colt will be looking to chase home Frankel one last time.

One might reckon that a Frankel/Excelebration straight forecast is likely to be the bet of the day as that tandem has paid off on four separate occasions with Excelebration finishing third to Frankel only once – in the 2011 St James Palace Stakes at Ascot. He is trading at 14/1 right now and the price with Frankel would probably be good – particularly on the tote.
Godolphin's Farhh had been fancied by some at one point as potentially a horse that could step up and muster up a serious challenge to Frankel's claims at the mile distance. Those hopes proved to be far beyond the colt's current ability but he is still only three and will be looking to kick on and progress over the following months and years. They will likely keep him in training next year (surely with an eye on the events at Meydan next year) but he continues to take some backing from the bookmakers and he's floating around 20/1 in a relatively short field.
Following that Farhh is Declaration of War, a talented Aidan O'Brien-trained colt by War Front out of a Rahy mare. He picked up a few lower level group contests this year and will be making a major step up here. If he can hit the board that will be a major accomplishment and he just might be capable of doing it.
Carlton House is likely to line up for the Queen's yard and you can expect them to put him in a good spot early for this one. Carlton House is a decent horse on his day but you just reckon that this likely isn't going to be his race. You could say the same for St Nicholas Abbey – who usually isn't floating around 33/1 but this time he is. He might be a decent shout to hit the board and would likely pay off nice in a winning forecast situation.
