After an impressive recent score at Salisbury racecourse, Ed McMahon's two-year-old filly Winning Express will step up directly off the listed level to attempt group 1 company in the upcoming Cheveley Park Stakes at Newbury. Supplemented to the tune of £15,000 for this one after turning out to be something of a surprise in her first two efforts, the daughter of Camacho should be able to excel at the 6f distance being contested here.

She is out of the Open Forum mare Lady Fabiola who has produced a few runners who've sold for semi-respectable prices. The sire is by Danehill and, though he wasn't particularly accomplished on track, was a Juddmonte product who is now known for producing some solid 2yo winners known for precociousness.
Expect Winning Express to go off at a quality price for this one with several more accomplished contenders likely to attract a bit of money. Regardless, the fact that connections are willing to supplement shows that the filly is going great guns.
Ceiling Kitty is expected to be one of the main challengers for this one as Tom Dascombe brings her back to face female company after finishing fourth from nine at Doncaster in the Flying Childers Stakes against Sir Prancealot. Prior to that she had rattled off three wins on the bounce that included a listed and a Group 2 score. She's rated at 100 and looks quality.
It should be noted, however, that she has never contested a 6f distance.
Hoyam came in fifth behind Ceiling Kitty in the aforementioned Flying Childers Stakes and also switches back to fillys. She has been rated at 104 at one point but is now back to 99 following that fifth place finish. She has stepped up to 6f before and could only muster a 3 place finish at Ascot back in July.
Il Palazzo is a mysterious Irish entry who is still a maiden and was beaten by 23 lengths on her debut at Leopardstown. What she's doing here is anyone's guess.
Speaking of maiden winners, Infanta Branca comes in for Aidan O'Brien and she finished third in a listed contest after breaking her maiden at the Curragh in April. Preferred rider Joseph O'Brien has been aboard for all three trips and it's worth seeing where he goes.
The one to watch may be undefeated Group 3 winner Ollie Olga, a Stormy Atlantic filly who has taken three victories in a row. Two of them came against high quality opposition and, though neither was by a particularly large margin, she was able to find the line first and that's what counts. She has, notably, never gone off as the favourite and was bet down to 5/1 in the last win at Goodwood.
