Camelot continues to cling to his 1/3 odds as the date draws nearer by the day for his attempt to become the latest horse to win the British Triple Crown. Coming on the heels of some genuinely outstanding performances, the Aidan O'Brien-trained colt is likely to go off at a significantly shorter price on the day unless there are some serious concerns about the going.

A competitive cadre of three-year-old contenders are lining up to take him on and there are some seriously good-looking horses with excellent records firmly pointed towards the race. None of them have been able to match Camelot at this point and his ability to dig in and get the job done has really been what's separated him from the competition thus far.
Great Heavens is considered to be the second betting choice after the odds-on favourite. He's trading at a competitive 6/1 listing ahead of a solid line-up of contenders who are all listed at 8/1. They include the highly-rated Imperial Monarch as well as the well-tipped Main Sequence. Shantaram is also involved while Thought Worthy rounds out the runners trading in single digits.
Camelot has already gotten the better of many of the other selections here but the added distance could prove to be the most interesting variable.
Some of the horses in the 14/1-20/1 range look solid and they include Encke - who hasn't disgraced himself in any of his efforts so far while Michaelangelo remains a fascinating option here at a competitive 14/1 price tag.
Frankel's younger brother Noble Mission has put in some solid shifts this year and still looks to be finding himself. The stretch out to 1m6f could prove to be just the ticket for him and it certainly looks like his older brother enjoys a bit of added distance beyond a mile as well. The contrast between the two colts is fascinating and, though Frankel is clearly the more talented of the two, it would be a real coup for the Juddmonte barn if they were to enter Noble Mission and get the scalp from Camelot.
Swedish Sailor and Astrology are both competitively priced at 33/1 with Ernest Hemingway available at 40/1.
The longest shot on the board in the current ante post market is Dartford, who reigns as the supreme long-odds selection with a 200/1 price tag.
