2013 Belmont Stakes Betting Tips Part 2
- By A.J. Ryder on June 6, 2013 18:16 GMTRevolutionary is currently slugging it out with Oxbow for the role of second favourite and key spoiler to Orb’s chances of picking up a pair of TC stakes. Revolutionary skipped the Preakness but mustered up a credible third in the Kentucky Derby with a third place finish by just over a length. Prior to that he had really made a name for himself by gutting out two tough victories in key Derby preps - oftentimes looking beat at the top of the stretch but still getting up to win.

Unlimited Budget has an 8/1 morning line price that is more than likely going to get bet down fairly significantly because of the presence of Rosie Napravnik. Easily one of the most well-regarded riders in America, Rosie also finds herself riding the only filly in the race.
Her undefeated record ended in the Kentucky Oaks after winning the Fair Grounds Oaks so there is still a lot of upside remaining for this contender. From a speed figure standpoint she looks to be in the mix but she will need to be at or near the pace in order to have any shot.
Freedom Child’s freak victory in the Peter Pan Stakes a few weeks ago by thirteen lengths really gave us all an idea of what he’s capable of and that’s why West Point Thoroughbred’s hot-shot two-year-old is listed at 8/1. He was considered a non-runner in the Wood Memorial so when you take out that from his form then his form looks even better. He remains a dangerous option over a sloppy track.
Midnight Taboo, still just a maiden winner after finishing up second in a n1x allowance contest at Belmont last time out, looks to be the longest shot on the board at 33/1 but stranger things have happened. Look for Will Take Charge to take some money at 20/1 while Palace Malice looks to be a fascinating outsider who may take advantage of a speed-favouring track.
