2013 Breeders Cup Classic Odds Part 1
- By A.J. There were some major statements made in several of the key races with one of the most notable narratives being the three-year-old fillies stepping up and making their presence felt in a big way.

Princess of Sylmar, who is not even entered for the Breeders’ Cup at all, got the best of living legend Royal Delta at Belmont Park - overtaking America’s premier racing queen in mid-stretch with a powerful run down the middle of the track. There was a lot to like about that performance and it’s pretty clear that Royal Delta is not used to getting beat unless it’s in Dubai.
Soon after that it was Beholder’s turn to flash her quality against older fillies and mares - romping home at Santa Anita under a hand ride and looking especially sharp in doing so.
The real big question is the Breeders Cup Classic and the fact that Game On Dude took the day off yesterday with connections looking to aim him directly for the Breeders’ Cup with no real prep race.
He powered home in the Pacific Classic to really make a statement winning by nearly nine lengths after being completely unchallenged throughout the race.
Game On Dude is available at a 4/1 price tag in the ante post markets to win the Breeders’ Cup Classic but a number of the results from yesterday showed that he’s going to have some extremely tough competiton.
