There is a lot to like about this mile and a half contest and we’re going to see some of the best runners in the world contest this Classic race for three-year-old’s.
It’s probably unsurprising that Ruler of the World is entering as the preferred even money choice in this one as punters jump on the Epsom winner to produce a Derby Double in the span of three weeks time. He was able to triumph at the Epsom Derby by a full length and a half over Libertarian when sent off as the third choice contender at 7/1.
Libertarian chased him home that day and looked every bit the place contender after grabbing a Group 2 contest at York just a few weeks before the Epsom Derby. Only having broken his maiden in early April at Pontefract, this contender is now a Godolphin charge and will race in the royal blue colours.
Much is expected of the son of New Approach and punters are backing him to move forward off of his last effort with a 7/2 price tag on the outright victory.
