Spa’s Dancer is by Danehill Dancer out of a Sadler’s Wells mare and won a handicap effort at Sandown after finishing second by a short head in his previous contest. Only raced twice this year he should do well in this one but with a field this large you are always taking a bit of a gamble.
The Queen Mary Stakes is next up and looks a tidy contest for some of the most promising 2YO fillies in the business. There are a lot of undefeated entries here set to battle it out over the 5f distance.
The likes of Fire Blaze, Kaiulani, Beldale Memory, Baytown Kestrel, Fast and Reroute will all be putting their undefeated records on the line. Rizeena, who has taken two races on the bounce and counts herself as a course and distance winner is the highest-rated entry and looks to be the selection.
In the Sandringham Handicap, we have another large field set to contest this one and we’ll likely be siding with Juddmonte’s Bracing Breeze, who just missed last time out in a seasonal debut. Fleeting Smile, who gets the Hughes/Hannon combination also has very credible claims and this daughter of Distorted Humor out of Fleet Indian deserves plenty of respect.
