With some heavy action unfolding at Haydock and Ascot this weekend, we’ll be taking a look at all the major races here and, while the Coral Hurdle may look like one of the most lopsided contests of the weekend (aside from Chelsea vs West Brom) there is still plenty of money to be made.

Obviously, before you really go into this one, you have to recognize that Faugheen is the absolute prohibitive favourite here and the bookmakers have him trading as low as 1/3 for the win with a field of about 10 or so set to contest this one.
The undefeated Willy Mullins charge is trading at an 11/4 price for the Champion Hurdle and looms large as the favourite for that contest with The New One looking to be the only challenger listed at a similar price. He’s also entered in the Fighting Fifth Hurdle at Newcastle in addition to the Hatton’s Grace Hurdle at Fairyhouse.
He also boasts an entry to the World Hurdle but looks likely to contest the shorter distance contest.
It’s been tough going trying to get a decent price on this contenders as even his Neptune Novices’ Hurdle effort saw him going off at a slim 6/4 price tag. He has won his past six races by a combined 52.5 length margin having never lost - even when he was point-to-pointing at the very start of his career back in April of 2012.
