2015 Breeders’ Cup Turf Betting Tips PT 2

Found has been running as a bit of a bridesmaid all year with just one or two actual victories but plenty of second place finishes in relatively prominent races. Look for him to be a powerful exotics selection but those looking to genuinely beat Golden Horn should look towards the local runners - not the other European imports.

The one to watch looks to be The Pizza Man who spawns a series of uncreative newspaper headlines every time he wins a race. Based at Arlington Park in Chicago he was able to get the better of a very accomplished field and triumph by a neck in the Arlington Million over the likes of Big Blue Kitten. He delivered (see what we did there) at a price around 6/1 and looked good value for money getting it done.

The Pizza Man seldom wins or loses by a big margin but he really looks to have turned a corner and the six-year-old gelding is also pointed at the Japan Cup later on this year. Owned and bred by Midwest Thoroughbreds, he also has a prep run over the Keeneland surface when he finished second by a head to Grand Arch in the Shadwell Turf Mile Stakes.

Punters will find The Pizza Man trading anywhere from 14/1 all the way down to an 8/1 margin.

The other real notables in this race include the aforementioned Big Blue Kitten who can be backed as high as 16s and is likely to be a good each-way bet over the Keeneland surface - particularly when you are able to find a bookmaker willing to pay out four places.

The odds then take a significant jump up to Big John B who can be spotted around 33/1 alongside a host of others including Slumber, Red Rifle, Twilght Eclipse and Da Big Hoss.

This one really looks to be a fascinating encounter with one very significant high-profile favourite. However, if any mistakes are made there is a talented group of horses here set to capitalize if Golden Horn doesn’t run to his optimum potential.
