The early wagering in the ante post markets has centred heavily around the trio of Criterion, Designs On Rome and Military Attack. The latter of the three has the highest price right now with some bookmakers listing him as high as a 9/2 margin right now for QEII Cup glory. 

Criterion had been leading the market for quite some time but he has been usurped pretty emphatically by the likes of Designs On Rome, who now sees his price dropping to a general 9/4 with most major bookmakers. He has been nearly unstoppable lately in Asia having taken three scores on the bounce before finishing a tame fourth in the Dubai Sheema Classic at Meydan. 

The key reference race here is his score in the Hong Kong Gold Cup back on March 1st when he was sent off an odds-on price and managed to get up at 17/20 by an impressive length and a quarter margin. Back in mid-December he was able to take the big contest  of the whole Asian season by capturing the Longines Hong Kong Cup by a short head over Military Attack. 

His running style sets him up nicely for this one and he is rounding into form at exactly the right time according to those who have been seeing him work in the mornings. There is lots to like about his chances and he has beat nearly everybody who is lining up in the race.
