He came second to Silver Concorde in the bumper at the festival last year and then was able to beat him out in the return fixture at Punchestown with an amateur rider in the irons.

He then went on toe capture a maiden hurdle first-out this season with Ruby up and he then followed up with a disappointing second place finish in a Grade 2 at Navan. You can back him anywhere from a 10/1 price tag all the way up to a 16/1 margin.
His stablemate Nichols Canyon is hovering around the 16/1 margin and will be looking to improve a bit since last time when he unseated Ruby in the Future Champions Novice Hurdle despite going off as the betting favourite. There were only five in the race and it was the first real blemish on his record since moving over from the flat circuit. A listed winner on the flat in France and at Ascot, he clearly has the cruising speed that you need to win races like those and he will be an interesting proposition as he moves forward.
The big question for Nichols Canyon is whether he runs in the Supreme or the Neptune - right now his Neptune price is marginally shorter than his listing for the big race at Cheltenham in March.
Silver Concorde was one of the big factors last year heading into the Supreme Novices after he captured the Champion Bumper at the festival. He was just beaten by Shaneshill in the Bumper at Punchestown. He then put in a just-good-enough performance on the flat at Navan in his seasonal debut this year to just win by less than a length when sent off as the 2/5 favourite in a field of 16 contenders.
He then lost his next outing at Leopardstown when faced with hurdles. He clearly lacked the ability to find more on the run-in and was a big disappointment to those who backed him at a slim 1/3.
