2016 Dubai World Cup Odds Pt 1

We are only a couple of weeks away from the big faceoff at Meydan racecourse in the Dubai World Cup and there is a lot to like about this years iteration of the race particularly if you are a big fan of American racing and know a lot about their older handicap division since there are quite a few of them who look to be punching it out here in the desert as plenty of betting options are available out there for punters.

California Chrome who was able to muster up a very credible second place finish last year is looking like the leading contender here and he is already in Dubai after flying out of his homebase in Los Angeles just a couple of days ago. A lot of observers really think he has what it takes to win the race and will be a force to be reckoned with if he is able to improve on what he put together during his last spin in the desert.

Right now you will find him anywhere from a 9/2 margin all the way up to a 6/1 price depending on whom you’re wagering with. He looked awfully decent on his prep debut at Santa Anita just a week or two ago and you can expect him to kick on and improve once he actually begins training over the surface at Meydan racecourse.

Chrome has a large amount of supporters and you can rest assured that his price tag on the US tote will likely be quite low -significantly lower than it would be in Europe but there are so many other American contenders in the mix here that it might result in just the opposite thing happening.

The main rival for California Chrome appears to be Effinex who trades at an 8/1 price tag right now with the majority of major bookmakers but you can spot a few out there pricing him at a 12/1 margin as well if you are sharp.
