2016 Dubai World Cup Odds Pt 2
- By A.J. Expect this one to be a much more tactical Dubai World Cup than ever before with so many Americans set to contest the dirt surface.
Mubtaahij is a well-known quantity to American racing fans since he was such a prominent part of the Triple Crown trail. A lot of different contenders were showing up at various points during American Pharoah’s romp through the US Classics but Mubtaahij earned himself plenty of American fans and you can expect them to show him some support here as many believe that he is at his best when racing at Meydan.
You can find Mubtaahij at a price as high as 12/1 and as low as 8/1 so he is more or less on par with where Effinex is in terms of the ante post wagering. As he moves forward in local preps you can expect his price to reflect that very sharply.
One of the outstanding locals to emerge this year looks to be Intilaaq who is right around the exact same price and you’ll find him as high as 12/1 and looking to build off his good impression he made in the first round of the Al Maktoum Challenge.
Tamarkuz is another local selection who has plenty of optimism about his chances. You’ll find him trading anywhere from a 14/1 to a 16/1 margin and looking good value for that.
Tryster is also in the mix and looking really good for his efforts and the punters seem to like him with a solid 16/1 margin. Frosted can be backed anywhere from a 12/1 to a 16/1 margin and he is said to be looking really good in comparison to last year while Travers winner Keen Ice is the real leading contender for wiseguy status at a decent 16/1.
