He’s trading around 10/1 right alongside Johns Spirit who probably carries the best run of form in his previous outing than most others in the ante post market.

Johns Spirit was able to triumph at Cheltenham in a high-priced Class 2 handicap chase when sent off as the 5/1 favourite in a field of 11. It was a pretty wide open contest and he acquitted himself very well in the grand scheme of things to get home by a one length margin. He is one of those unique horses who really does appear to be a Cheltenham specialist as his last three victories have all come on jumps racing’s biggest stage.
Look for him to kick on here and replicate that form with a nice one-month break in between contests. He definitely deserves a look and his price will make him an each-way squeak for many.
Next up is Nicky Henderson’s talented contender Oscar Whisky who comes into the race after having some really unlucky runs around festival time last year. He fell at the 1st in the JLT Novices’ Chase and then came a close second in the Manifesto Novices’ Chase at Aintree in April.
This talented runner put together some of his bets efforts over hurdles and has won a few quality contests at Cheltenham specifically. He has forged a great partnership with Barry Geraghty and is set to take another tour over fences again this season. He is a solid option at 11/1 but you reckon he might need a race or two before he is back in form.
