There may be a slim field set to contest the Group 3 contest at Sandown on Thursday but there is a lot to like about the race itself with some extremely talented three-year-old colts lining up for this one.

The distance to be contested is a 1m2f spin at Sandown and this one will have a nice set-up for those with their eyes on the Epsom Derby or even the 2000 Guineas in a couple of weeks.
Fantastic Moon looks to be the betting choice at this point and this is the only contender who is currently carrying 9-2 instead of the assigned 9-0 for everyone else. Four of them are racing for their seasonal debuts except and two of those who have already had efforts this season are trading at 16/1 and 14/1 - Woodstock and the lightly-raced Libertarian.
Both of them are just maiden winners.
There is some serious competition for the actual outright favourites position with plenty of congestion sure to happen in the wagering as we get closer to the off. Fantastic Moon was last seen running at Santa Anita in the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile. Finishing 10th from 14 was disappointing for connections but they will have him looking good for this one and it’s notable that they go back to William Buick, who was aboard for the first two (and only) victories - one of which was a Group 3 at Sandown.
The early odds are trading at 7/2 for the Jeremy Noseda-trained colt. A son of Dalakhani he is likely to enjoy the longer distance, he has already shown his ability to find the line but has not won at anything over 7f.
