There are some great prices out there right now and it will be interesting to see how the odds shift around during the build-up to the race as we get a few days closer to the declarations stage.

Right now the bookmakers are giving the edge to Due Diligence, who was just edged out by Slade Power at Royal Ascot back in June. Send off at a 5/1 price on the day, he was only 1.5 lengths behind, but was hampered a bit at a crucial stage and still finish ahead in his group of 3.
Look for Due Diligence to kick on nicely here and it’s going to be interesting to see whether he gets Ryan Moore or whether he returns to the handling of Joseph O’Brien, who piloted him in three of his prior races - winning two.
The big question was whether he can repeat that type of run, as his previous outings were in non stake races at Naas against much lesser competition. The three-year-old Aidan O’Brien trainee will be taking on some seasoned older contenders here and many are clinging to that Ascot performance as proof positive that he’s going to be able to kick on and repeat it.
For Due Diligence fans, the big spoiler is likely to be Sole Power, who has repeatedly got the best of some of the top sprinters in the world, having racked up a trio of victories on the bounce. While Sole Power seldom wins by a big margin, he has a tremendous late flourish and the ability to find an additional gear while moving through the heavy traffic that is such a constant in these types of 5f races.
