Michelangelo is a talented, though lightly-raced, son of Galileo who was last seen at Goodwood in the Group 3 Gordon Stakes. He's trading at around 10/1 and needs to show some improvement in this race. He's likely competing for the place bet here.

Guarantee is an interesting sort who emerges off the handicap circuit to tackle Group level company for the first time. He showed his 1m6f acumen last time out with William Haggas in the irons at York in the Melrose Stakes. As he continues to move forward, he could be a bigger and bigger factor here. He's likely dangerous if he can move forward substantially against more talented company.
Imperial Monarch is another lightly-raced sort and is the other Aidan O'Brien charge. He is still up in the air as to whether he lines up or not but several bookmakers continue to list prices on him. Winner of the Juddmonte Prix De Paris, he's only been on track four times but has mustered up some high-quality performances when called upon.
It will certainly be interesting to see how he handles the ground and his ability to steal races on the front-end could prove to be an interesting variable should he actually line up.
Thomas Chippendale is the first of the much longer shots and punters will find him priced at around 25/1 with Encke and Ursa Minor both available at a best price of 33/1. There are always a few long-shot contenders in the St Leger and you'll find Chamonix up as high as 100/1 while Dartford trades at an impressive 250/1. He is still a maiden, but is bred by Juddmonte and trained by John Gosden.
He is by Giant's Causeway out of a Kris S mare – regally-bred. Wouldn't it be interesting if he broke his maiden in the St Leger to defeat Camelot and scupper a British Triple Crown bid? Anything can happen in this game.
