Monbeg Dude trades at a competitive 6/1 price.
Rigadin De Beauchene gets a slim edge over Monbeg Dude and Teaforthree with a price hovering around 5/1 right now depending on whom you’re betting with. He took the Betfred Classic Chase in January after knocking on the door for quite some time. It wasn’t so much the victory itself, but the manner of the victory - staying on under pressure - that really got the job done at Warwick.

He ranks amongst several of the others who come from relatively undistinguished company but jumped up to a significant level to subsequently score a win.
Well Refreshed will be looking for his third win on the bounce and his fourth win from six efforts so far this season. While his races haven’t exactly been the most challenging from a class standpoint, he has won every single race in his last six that he has actually finished. He has some falling efforts, PU’s and UR’s but if he is still on his feet after the final fence he is tough to get the better of. He is a bit of a wildcard should be able to stay the distance and just knows how to find the line.
Giles Cross has only had one real effort so far this season - he was pulled up at Chepstow in the Welsh National. He was also pulled up in the National last year too when Paddy Brennan called it a day 11 from home. He boasts the distinction of having captured this race last year and finished just a neck in front of Neptune Collonges - who then went on to win himself the Grand National.
It’s a clear illustration that this one has the raw, genuine ability to get the victory here but he doesn’t always have the consistency needed to get the job done. If he can channel some of his efforts from last year then he has absolutely every reason to be in the run for this one. He enjoys heavier going and should be able to deal with things presented to him here.
Punters will find Giles Cross trading at a competitive 8/1 price.
