Newbury Saturday Betting Preview Part Two

The Group 3 Fred Darling Stakes is up next and we've got nine contenders going 7f in a quality race for three-year-old fillies. Richard Hannon's multiple Group 2 winner Best Terms is a fair bit ahead from a rating's perspective, with just the solitary blemish coming during her seasonal bow at Newmarket in the Group 1 Cheveley Stakes. Expect her to get most of the attention going off at even weights as she takes on some relatively lightly-raced fillies here. Radio Gaga should improve here and you can also expect some support for Brick Tops who is 1/1 and looks set to enjoy the distance.

Roger Sez also gets some respect from the handicapper but will need to find some better form here.
The Group 3 Greenham Stakes sees seven high-quality three-year-olds tackling a 7f distance. Expect plenty of support for Dansili's son Top Offer who lines up for the Juddmonte yard. While Spiritual Star, Caspar Netscher and Bronterre all boast more quality from a ratings perspective, they were all beaten last time out and do not boast anything resembling the buzz that Top Offer has at the moment.
Keep your eye on Boomerang Bob to get up on the bottom end of your forecast tickets.
The 3:45 sees a 23 strong handicap set to go 1m over the softer going. Fury looks the pick of the crop for this one though he does go off as a co-top-weight. The four-year-old son of Invincible Spirit hasn't won since October of 2010 but looks set to kick on nicely here and should be able to stay the distance. He can navigate big crowds and redeemed himself fairly well in his seasonal debut at Doncaster in the William Hill Lincoln. He was third, beaten by only a length and improved well in the final furlong.
George Guru deserves respect and seldom finishes outside of the exacta. He shifts over from the all weather circuit and will be looking to stake his claim amongst higher-quality handicappers. Michael Attwater wouldn't be making the move if he didn't think it was necessary and it's nice to see Mark Coumbe remaining on the horse.
The 4:20 Bathwick Tyres Maiden Stakes is a 1m3f5y contest for some very lightly-raced three-year-olds who still look to be finding their footing. The Queen saddles Sign Manual here with Hayley Turner booked for the ride. The well-monikered King of Dudes lines up for Sir Henry Cecil and will look to improve off the second-place in his maiden at the end of his two-year-old season. Synchronicity has some nice breeding and looks interesting with Dane O'Neill booked for the ride.
The 4:55 is another maiden contest for three-year-olds with a 1m distance set to be contested. The Queen has another unraced colt lining up here as Border Legend, a son of Selkirk, will likely get some attention. Red Ramesses looks the pick from the horses who've been out before, finishing third in his debut effort at Kempton.
Lucanin could be the surprise package here and will attract attention with Sir Michael Stoute and Ryan Moore teaming up.
The final race of the day comes at 5:25 with a rather lengthy handicap set to be contested. The weights aren't particularly challenging with three carrying an assignment of 9-7. It's tough to get a genuine gauge on this one because you have horses from all walks of life competing. Reachforthebucks looks good from a form perspective and gets a pound on the top weights. Saborido did well last time out and boasts some very cosmopolitan breeding. Follow The Flag may go off at a nice price and could finally be set for the break through.
