Tofino Bay sees a very interesting placement here but one that looks set to pay some real dividends as he comes into this one on the back of two very tough beats. He finished second at Navan in a Grade 2 Novice Chase back in February and then ran a monster race in the Amateur Riders Novice Chase at Cheltenham to be beaten only half a length to Back In Focus after being sent off at 8/1.

Look for him to deploy his frontrunning style to great effect in this contest.

Back In Focus is also set to line up for Willy Mullins in this one and he’s going to be looking for his fifth score on the bounce after capturing Grade 2 and Grade 1 contests and then taking the aforementioned Amateur Riders at Cheltenham.

Expect him to get his usual tracking trip here, but it’s important to keep in mind that he can’t keep on eeking out victories forever.

There are several other massive contests unfolding on the day and several of them will have dozens and dozens of runners. It's going to be like picking out a needle in a haystack, but those who do handicap the races properly will see significant rewards. They aren't always the most formful races, but they do make for great betting.
