- By A.J. Ryder on October 20, 2014 17:47 GMTSince that race actually happened about a month and a half ago, he will likely have come on a bit and grown some - which could intimidate his opponents as his last effort was a solid one and there remains the potential for him to show even more here.

Though it was a comfortable victory on the day at Haydock he actually started a bit slowly, which was also on display in his debut victory at York when he started poorly and had to make a late run. That day, he was sent off at a 16/1 price tag and paid a nice dividend for his backers as he toppled that field of 13 by staying on strongly in the final furlong.
Punters will find Celestial Path available at an enticing price of 7/1 which is actually pretty good value in a smaller field like this one. With Elm Park looking a little bit undisciplined in his last effort and question marks still remaining over Royal Navy Ship and whether he will be able to replicate that performance he displayed in his last effort, there may be more than a few bettors who look for an interesting 1/2 each-way play on this one. Though they will only likely be paying out two places as the field could be less than 8, he is still good value at that price and looks a sharp selection for those who are looking to tangle with the favourites.
He is certainly looking a bit more enticing than Giovanni Canaletto, who is another Ballydoyle contender by Galileo. Bred by Southern Bloodstock, he has only had the solitary run at Navan where he finished third from eighteen contenders despite being sent off as the 8/11 favourite. Seeing an unraced odds-on favourite in a field that big showed that there was plenty of expectations placed on him but he never really troubled the leaders who were sent off at 20/1 and 25/1, respectively. One of them was his stablemate Jinsha Lake.
Giovanni Canaletto is available at a 9/1 price and that might be a bit too short for some, unless they genuinely think he is the real deal and can progress off that last run to step up to Group 1 company despite still being a maiden.
