Saturday Scoop6 Betting Preview Part 3

Manyriverstocross and Ardlui are both entered by Alan King in this race and could wind up factoring into things if they get the race shaping up in their favour. Lady Kashaan got the better of Moidore last time out and also looks an interesting contender but perhaps got a bit lucky last time.

The 3:15 is the Bet365 Gordon Richards Stakes -a Group 3 contest - with a few interesting sorts competing for a bid. Thomas Chippendale is here and he’ll be looking to get the season off to a big start. Ektihaam lines up for Roger Varian’s yard and he was a beaten favourite last time out with Dane O’Neill in the irons at Goodwood. He is placed in a Group 2 at York last May but has struggled when dealing with larger fields.

Burano has finished twice in both of his last races and the Brian Meehan trainee switches over to Jimmy Fortune. He has been knocking on the door and could break through with some luck.

Roger Charlton’s Al Kazeem looks to be the one to beat and he goes in with the best ratings for this contest. The son of Dubawi took a Group 2 last year at Newmarket and has been laid off since May of 2012. He was running in quality company and nearing a classic bid but he’s now back and looking to make a statement here.

Juddmonte enters Eagles Peak - a lightly-raced five-year-old son of Galileo who has only been out three times. He has Ryan Moore booked for the trip and remains a real unknown quantity.

The 3:50 at Sandown is the Grade 3 Bet365 Gold Cup Chase and this one looks to be anyone’s guess - particularly having to lock in Scoop6 selections without seeing the market moving late. Balthazar King disappointed in the National but looks like he could have the measure of this contest and appears fit if they’re going to enter him here.

Hadrian’s Approach gets the Nicky Henderson/Barry Geraghty treatment and he could be one to reckon especially considering Geraghty’s recent form. Also take a look at Well Refreshed, who looks for his fourth score on the bounce - he’s won his last two races by a combined 32 lengths and one of them was a Grade 3 at Haydock.
