- By A.J. Ryder on January 30, 2015 22:25 GMTIt’s worth taking a second look at Global Power who has clearly been pointed towards this one and looks set to make the breakthrough after a pair of second place finishes recently.

The 3:00 comes to us from Sandown and we’ve got the Betfred Mobile Heroes Handicap Hurdle drawing in a tricky group of contenders that is led by Harry Fry’s selection Polamco who is well weighted for this one and will be looking for his third score on the bounce. This is the only graded contest on the card and should be fascinating but some might be put off by his 7/2 margin right now.
Imperial Leader lines up for Nigel Twiston-Davies and he’s likely to attract some attention having lost his first race of the season as a beaten favourite and emerging strongly here in a competitive race. The bookmakers are floating him as a very reasonable chance for a score here and his 10-10 weighting puts him right in the sweet spot.
There are a number of talented selections set to contest the 3:45 from Sandown and we’ve got La Reve coming in as the betting favourite but you can probably expect a lot of punters to prefer Just A Par, who lines up for Paul Nicholls yard in a race that many expect to be the best of the day. While his recent record doesn’t boast many victories he has been campaigning in some tricky races and looks pretty well placed here.
Theatrical Star and Bertie Boru are also likely to attract a fair amount of the wagering volume as well.
The final contest of the day comes from Sandown and we’ve got a 2m4f handicap hurdle here with a dead-on shoot-out emerging between Amidon and Sir Vinski with bookmakers floating both of them at a 5/1 margin right now. This good betting race could also see Brigadier Miller being the play with Barry Geraghty up in the irons and a solid price of 10/1 making him a good each-way squeak and a certain addition to your Scoop6 ticket.
