Shippers Prominent in 2012 Breeders Cup Filly & Mares Turf

It really looks to be a story of the European invaders coming into this Breeders' Cup Filly & Mare's Turf as a pair of extremely high-profile shippers have been bet down very short. A few of the US competition are lining up for this one and many of them carry very long prices with the European books. There are more than a few good opportunities available here – especially if you reckon that the two high-profile contenders either won't show up or won't run their best if they do.

At the top of the helm is the venerable Snow Fairy – she's one of the best stories in recent horse racing after having been purchased at auction for just a few thousand quid. She's gone on to win millions and millions in races all over the globe.
She was most recently spotted winning the 2012 Irish Champion Stakes at Leopardstown over a well-respected group of contenders including Nathaniel, St Nicholas Abbey and Born To Sea. She has literally beaten a who's who of Group 1 runners in France, England, Ireland, Japan and Hong Kong. She also managed to run third in the Arc last year when sent off at 14/1.
This race looks like she could potentially have it on a plate, but there are a lot of variables between now and then. Punters have her down to 2/1 ante post.
One of those big variables is The Fugue who comes out of the John Gosden yard for Lord Andrew Lloyd-Webber and she's trading at a very competitive 3/1 price. She won the Group 1 Nassau Stakes over the likes of Timepiece, Was, Izzi Top and Nahrain. She ran a credible second by a neck to the respected Shareta in the Darley Yorkshire Oaks.
She has lots of potential and has hit the board pretty much every time she's been out with some crucial Group 1 wins. She is only 3 and will improve with age as she's by Dansili and is out of a Sadler's Wells mare.
I'm a Dreamer is trading at a solid 10/1 but there is also the likes of American filly Marketing Mix – who knows how to find the line in grass races. Punters can back her at 10/1 as well and you'll also find Zagora – a regular fixture in stateside Group 1 turf races at the same price.
Lady of Shamrock can be backed at 12/1 while Quiet Oasis is sitting at 14/1 alongside Up. Maybe is 20/1 and Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf winner Tapitsfly rounds out the field at 25/1.
