Tataniano Out of Tingle Creek Chase

A starkly different betting market now exists for the 2011 Tingle Creek Chase at Sandown with second-favourite Tataniano withdrawn due to injury. The move from the Paul Nicholls yard has prompted a dramatic reshuffling of the odds that has seen leading fancy Sizing Europe beat down to 11/8 while the mysterious Kauto Stone continues to take money.

A tear in his tendon has ruled Tataniano out for the season.
Kauto Stone is obviously going to be receiving attention based on the name, connections and race record (all so similar to the living legend) but the really interesting part is that the punters are taking the bait. Floated at 10/1 earlier this week, Kauto Stone is now available in the region of 7/2 – making him the firm second favourite.
A field of six is set to contest this one and we have also seen the withdrawal of fan-favourite Kinkeel – who is actively looking to set the Guinness World Record for the number of lifetime chases undertaken by a jumper.
Kinkeel was previously floated at his usual odds of around 200/1 and was likely targeting fourth place.
Wishfull Thinking will likely take a bit of a price drop on the day and his odds are contesting heavily with Kauto Stone with some bookmakers floating the eight-year-old son of Alflora ahead of Kauto Stone. He was sixth-placed in the Paddy Power Gold Cup Chase and will be looking to build on that performance – a tough task when you're dealing with Sizing Europe.
I'msingingtheblues is trading at 20/1 while Gauvain has been clipped to a 10/1 listing. Cornas trades at 20/1 while Fix The Rib is the long shot fancy at 66/1.
