138TH OPEN LAST MINUTE BETTING TIPS

Popular UK bookmaker Ladbrokes has listed Tiger Woods as the 3.5 favourite to win the 138th Open at Turnberry. With the players teeing off in just a few hours, we've put together a selection of last minute odds and prices for this widely-anticipated major championship. Sergio Garcia is the 2nd place favourite across the board with a 26.0 that's significantly higher than Woods' is, but I think he'll put in a quality shift and I like him and Tiger on the Dual Forecast at 67.0. I also think I might have a punt on Woods/Poulter at the same price.Ladbrokes has also layed out some interesting special bets for the Open and I think Tiger Woods to hit a hole in one at 67.0 isn't a bad bet. He's also 11.0 to win in a play-off, and that's a significantly better value than the 3.0 for the outright victory. You can also back Tiger's winning margin and you'll find the odds ranging from 11.0 to 81.0 for 1-6 shots. A margin of 7 or more pays out at 51.0. A hole-in-one at any point during the tournament pays out at 2.1 and no hole-in-ones are listed at a 1.66 price. Sergio Garcia is the co-favourite to win the tournament without Tiger Woods, listed alongside Ian Poulter, Lee Westwood, Padraig Harrington and Rory McIlroy at 21.0. You can also bet on top American without Tiger Woods. Hunter Mahan and Jim Furyk are considered the most likely options at 8.0. Steve Stricker is 9.0 with Anthony Kim listed at 11.0. Lee Westwood and Rory McIlroy are both the shortest priced favourites for Top GB & Irish player at 7.0. Ian Poulter and Paul Casey are just behind at 8.0. There is also group betting and match betting available for this tournament. I'm backing Tiger, but I also like Garcia and Poulter. Each-way selections are profitable with odds this generous and I'm confident there's lots of money to be made here this weekend.
